Here at Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School, we are a tight-knit multicultural community. Our community promotes strong relationships among students, peers and teachers, but also among Beaverton families and beyond. These relationships create a network that helps children navigate challenges, build social skills, and develop empathy and cooperation.
As a smaller school, collaboration is attainable, which is so important across all grade levels. Our students have ample opportunities to work together on projects, engage in group discussions, and learn from each other's perspectives, exploring teamwork and communication skills.

One of the biggest draws to Arco Iris Immersion School is our tight-knit community for our students and families. We lean on our Arco Iris families as our partners to help make our school community an extraordinary place to be. Our board members, parent volunteers and staff regularly make our school the incredible place it is – encouraging safe social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Our robust PTO organizes fundraising events, carpooling and volunteer opportunities as classroom assistants, lunch help and crosswalk duty. We have a community that models and encourages character development, respect for diversity, and a sense of responsibility toward the community.

Arco Iris Spanish Immersion is a small tuition-free public charter school providing a rich, immersive Spanish language experience and robust academics in a true multicultural setting. Centrally located off 217, between SW Portland and Tigard, we serve K-5 students in the greater Beaverton area to become bilingual and biliterate leaders of the future. We’re enrolling for Fall 2024-25.
